It's about the same as when my teachers told me I shouldn't sleep. I started answering before they asked them and screwed up anyone else from answering them. Fuck raising a hand. Do that enough and suddenly they will want you to sleep.
Why not just be a good student and respect your teachers and classmates? Why the need to be a total asshole and ruin learning for others? Scared to have friends, so you just became the dick that everyone hates?

I had plenty of friends in HS and zero people thought what I did was dickish because it took less than a class for me to get my point across.
If they did this to my kids tablet I'd be pissed. Even if the password question was 2+2 they dont have the right to go through or use my child's personal property. Taking up for the day I understand but when they do shit like this or say " give us $x or we'll keep it until the end of the school year " thats too far.
Y'all do know that the teacher couldn't have done this, unless they had the original password to begin with, right? Security measures on these things prevent people from changing the password unless they have the original one.
Most kids ( like my nephews and their friends) I know with tablets and phones arent allowed to have a lock on them and not everyone puts a password on their shit so that might have been the case here, unless it was one of those pattern ones and just copied it
