My dad always says he thinks dogs cause too much trouble, are useless
But then we go to visit my grandma's, and she has dogs.
They always become his friend instantly and he spends his times petting them and talking to them in a baby voice
That's what I hope will happen to my boyfriend, who doesn't like pets in general and "the cat won't be allowed in the bedroom". (We're getting one in march)
(Also I couldn't stand sleeping alone when she's working night shifts and the cat ain't allowed in the bed)
Oh we're gonna go to local shelters and look for one :)
Also our landlord only allows housecats, so we'll look for one who hasn't been an outside cat yet :)
(Older one)
Oh blue is a wonderful colour! They look so elegant!
Thanks, but I'm rather looking to give an unfortunate shelter cat a new home :)
Although there's several breeds I love (bengal, ragdoll, savannah, egyptian mau, scottish fold, norwegian forest cat, maine coon) *sigh*
It's not that they hate or don't want dogs, it's that they are afraid of getting attached to them and then the dogs die. They are afraid of losing them. These pictures are just amazingly beautiful.
My dad says that about our cats lmao. But yet when one gets in his lap he doesn’t move, talks to them occasionally, and pets them. Plus one winter we had no heat and it was super cold in our house and my dad bundled them up in blankets when he saw them shivering and held them.

I’m supposed to be getting a blue British shorthair.
