Freshmen travel in packs. What are they afraid of.
You. They are afraid of you, the non-freshmen.
You look dead, cold and dying. You look at them and think to yourself or say it put loud if you're like me "aww, little pretty birds, still have hope in your eyes and aww. Ahahah, we will see how that ends" then walk away in either high heels or crocs.
Freshmen and seniors are so easy to tell apart.
Freshmen look... fresh.
Seniors... eh my friend goes to classes and she brings nothing but her keychain, her phone and some money stuffed in the phonecase and every other seniors just "hmmm understandable"

This is some night vale shit right here but at the same time, same.
Really enjoy every moment of it, and do allll the things, but don't overdo it, and you will be fine :D
also..
Don't. Get. Behind. It is impossible to catch up.
Don't be shy about working ahead! Group things like reading, research, or paper writing together and knock a chunk of them out in one shot. You can balance work, college, and family/social life if you master that. Have fun!!
I really feel like american college is.... something else. I just graduated with an engineering degree, and got through school without excessive stress, despite being a huge procrastinator (although granted, a close deadline makes me productive, not stressed).
I partied excessively, was lazy on my assignments, planned nothing in advanced, and still was more than okay, and so were my friends. And yet posts about american college make it seem like its hell on earth and its like D-day levels of stress.
This is not a jab a people who feel that kind of stress, im just trying to figure out whats so different.
Lol, I'm not talking about American college either, I'm talking about a South African university (University of Stellenbosch), and we have students that went to America, and they also say you basically don't need to do jack shit there, you are spoonfed and it's like high-school at most.
