My cats are little rub sluts lol. You just have to place a finger on top of my cat Allen's head and he is instant "O PET ME!" mode lol.
Even Boogie my mental challenged cat is addicted to pets.
Only time one bites or scratches is to say

My cats only hate being touched by strangers or people who are overly in their face or kids. Everyone else can go ahead and even do belly rubs. But then again they were human raised so they are less skeptical of humans
