It's easier to justify multiple guitars even if they all look the same because of different tunings, style of guitar (slide vs picking), and sonic signature (A Les Paul doesn't sound like a Stratocaster). This means that no one guitar can do the job of multiple guitars though some can come close. It isn't like a PC where you build a top of the line wait 5 or so years then upgrade.
Lol I paid $50 for my acoustic guitar. Which is really cheap honestly. So no need to lie about that, not too great of a guitar though, I have to retune it pretty often but it works for what I need it for
@alekazam what do you usually play on it? Just like... drunk made-up tunes? That's what I do. I've been told I'm amazing at it, but I can never repeat anything twice... I don't actually know how to play it. I get the basic idea, as I do a piano... same situation when I'm with a piano.
