Nah, there's that fine level to find. Like instagram girls that are plastered in makeup to a point that none of their skin is actually in contact with air ? Hard pass. Fake eyebrows ? HAAAARD PASS (seriously, why ???).
But there ain't no denying that lipstick and a bit of mascara / eyeshadow go a looong way.
"misleading and false advertising"
yea, on behalf of all women who wear makeup, I'm sorry that we make you think we got glittering golden eyelids and bright red lips naturally.
@poopun says it right. I think there's a societal expectation on women to wear makeup, but as in all things, there can be an excess. surely we've all seen the almost horrific pictures of excessive makeup.
Put it on with a roller if you want. Use eyeliner as lip stick and put fake eyelashes on your knuckles if it makes you feel good. To each their own. Even if I were single the truth is I don’t have to find everyone on earth attractive- but it would be nice if everyone on earth could feel attractive. Most of the time women aren’t putting on make up for other people they are doing it for themselves. Everyone is attractive to someone- so you just gotta be who you are. Not everyone is going to like your style or your look and that’s fine as long as you don’t expect them to. For our parts- if someone doesn’t ask we likely don’t need to tell them what we think about their looks.
subtle, not like layers of makeup that look like a wedding cake. seen the difference between a girl who wears a lot of make up and when she doesn't, doesn't look like the same person. to the guest, you turn to insults, you lose, others that think i'm "wrong", it's an opinion, i'll choose a girl that has little to no make up than one that needs a spatula to remove it at the end of the day.
Hey fun fact. Most women? Dont wear make up for you and dont give a singular, iota of a fuck what you think. They wear it because they want to and they feel good. Full stop.
Except you probably prefer the ‘no makeup’ makeup look, which actually is a lot of product. You just don’t realize it because it looks natural. Your preferences are your preferences and no one can say you’re wrong about that. However, makeup is never false advertising because a woman is not a product and her face is not the only thing she offers. It’s a form of art and something many women enjoy, not a tool for them to somehow trick you.
