No, fallen Angels are still Angels. Demons are souls that have been in hell long enough to become that way. Lucifer hates Demons and thinks they're vial but they do his bidding so he doesn't exterminate them.
I didn't realize at first that you were talking about just the show, not the actual Bible. However, @llamas0can0fly - archangel does not meant an angel that went bad, archangel is a title - meaning a very high ranking angel (which is true for the Bible and for the show). Satan, referred to as Lucifer in the show, was one of these high ranking archangels. Ok now I am going to bounce because Supernatural is very, very different from biblical theology and it will just get too confusing.
YOU SAID IT.
Lemme tell ya, nothing is more confusing than having Satan, Lucifer, Satanael, Beezlebub, Astaroth, Abaddon, and Baal all being different entities in persona 5. Like I understand the differences for the last 4, but wtf is the difference between the first 3?
In Supernatural there's 4 Archangels, which is basically an angel on steroids. Michael, Lucifer, Gabriel and Raphael. Gabriel is my favorite, he's such a trickster.

It took God and the archangels to seal the Darkness
