I have all my electronics set to military time. It's just easier for me

So.... Normal 24 hour set time? How is that difficult to understand...

I never thought of this as military time. I mean it's not like only the military uses 24 hour time.

Idk I mean... I never use military time but I know how to tell it. Personally my reasoning is that it isn't widely used enough here that if I know I have a 430pm appointment, and I look at someones clock and it says its 1519 I gotta say shit am I late what actual time is it? and then do the conversion in my head. It doesn't take long of course, but I see it like if I asked someone how fast a thing was moving or how much of an ingredient to add and they gave me metric, I'd be like "no I didn't ask for a math problem."

I don't think I even notice anymore since I've been using a 24hr clock since college. It's just easier and you never have that panic of waking up from a nap and thinking you're late for work or whatever.

I kinda use both (albeit 24h is more frequent for me) and this kind of post feels so weird like... To me it's so automatic, I had never even realized it could require some sort of adjustment / conscious reflexion to navigate between the two.

Most major industries use the 24 hour clock/employees use it in an office setting. Especially if you work in logistica or trade because it's much easier to transition between countries/time zones with it.

It's funny, don't most country use that "military" time? it's just normal regular unarmed civil time here in France
