I’m still wondering why we have teachers that are specialized in a single subject. If one adult can’t master all the subjects at that level then how can we expect students to do so?

My english teacher didn’t believe honeydew is a type of melon cuz it got the word “honey” in it so it must be honey. I wonder her reaction to grapefruit..
