I don't think anyone born before 1970 would call himself X. But generally being born after 1980 won't count you into X. Anyway, there are many shades of grey here.

I agree mrscollector. By the year I'm supposed to be a Millennial, but by the descriptions I fit Gen x, not at all the millennial one.

Also, there are some things that I think are cultural. Like early access to technology for example. In south America countries was not as accessible as North America early on. (Of course some countries still not even a thing)

I didn’t mean it like that, I was just talking about the exact years for each generation. I couldn’t care less what generation I’m considered as, but I would like to know the facts.

It's only true if people make it so. I'm 27 yet I don't work like anyone else in my generation I've ever met. I actually go to work on time.
