That’s pretty true with most things. What we know and what is absolute fact... well... for all we know everything we know is wrong down to the most basic things- but if it seems to work the way we think- and it is repeatable- we generally just take it on faith that we’ve got the parts we need. With more abstract stuff like names and ideas and language and concepts- well... it doesn’t actually matter what is or isn’t fact. If enough people agree and again- we apply a concept of consistency- a year is a year and a week is a week and an hour is an hour.
Or you think you do anyway. Scientifically your sample sizes are likely to small to draw a conclusion for the general populace. Or at least I think they are- since I’d assume I’d hear it on the news or something if they were large scale tests. But there we are back to square one- id be relying on the news or you if I were to believe that information. So the only way for us to know first hand would be to each try ourselves with a suitably large sample group.
Well, time to start collecting babies. The larger the sample size, the more accurate the results!
Ps: taking donations from anyone who wants to get rid of a baby, be it theirs or not.
Based off a system clock that was set by a user or defaulted to fixed value if power was lost. I could go to a thrift store or eBay right now and buy an older camera set the date to the 80’s or 90’s and all the pictures would say it. And of course there are digital and other means to fake it. A Date of development printed on the photo reverse is only slightly harder to forge or fake but isn’t the most difficult thing.
My grandmother had a neice who was born on a certain date but she was told she was born on a day 3 months later.
It was due to her being conceived out of wedlock. So my grandmother's brother and sister-in-law just told everyone the baby was conceived on their honeymoon instead of 3 months before they got married.
Yes it was a shotgun wedding. That only the couple's close family knew about.
For her whole life she thought she was 3 months younger than she was. She only found out when she was in her late 50s and her mom had Alzheimer's and let it slip.
