It’s a family recipe from West Virginia, so it most likely got its name from the several ingredients that are labeled as “Mexican ___” in stores and is no where near authentic, but it is delicious

My cats refused to finish the fancy treat I got them but Hobbes literally five minutes ago got on my lap and used her little paws to grab my hand which was holding a piece of bread, brought it to her face and took a bite

My mom's cat once planted her claws and teeth into a baguette and we couldn't take it back. I was holding the bread, agitating it to let her losen her grip, while my dad was trying to gently remove her. Some cats love bread.
