Well maybe he's very fitness-focused and has to count his macros. This means weighing all your food, and prepping the cereal makes it faster every morning.
Nailed it. Came to say basically the same thing. Only thing I could add is just that it seems silly but it can be a huge time saver- and even if you aren’t a fitness person or on a diet- if you’re a busy person it can be REAL easy to forget things when you have a million things to do in a day and your mind is already strategizing and going over the days to do list as soon as you get up. So many folks like that create routines that are simple and consistent so the little details are as easy and automatic as breathing practically. You place your phone and keys and everything in one place, hang outfits as sets so you can grab and go, put things you need to remember like packages to ship in the car the night before etc etc. grab and go.
I think that’s the idea. The containers and prep imply but don’t mean by default they are meant to travel. If you work out hard- most programs make eating in the morning important- as well as some snacks or small meals every few hours. So if you are a commuter or don’t have a fridge etc- this tactic could help keep your food at a cooler temperature instead of room temp when you go to eat it after it’s been out of the fridge for an hour or whatever.
You know if you are like super about saving money measuring out your milk might be a good idea that way you I know exactly how much milk to pour on your cereal everyday and so you don't waste milk and and then end up with a small bowl with a lot of milk or big bowls with little milk.
But you can do that using a measuring cup you don't have to like divide your milk up ahead of time.
Unless you like accidentally broke your milk jug.
I’m actually concerned about how the poster thinks they’ve found someone perfect but think that the deal breaker is that the guy likes eating food a certain way. Lot of people have given plenty of logical reasons as to why he might be doing it but even if he was doing it for absolutely no good reason, why is he no longer the perfect man over something so trivial?
