Normally I wouldn't comment on this, and I would just be happy for her. I am totally happy she is cancer free. However, God had nothing to do with it. An army of doctors and other various health professionals should have all the credit.
If her faith gave her hope and helped ease her suffering then, regardless of your stance on religion, God helped get her through it, and probably eased the burden on the doctors at least somewhat if she was able to be comforted by her faith.
.
Not all patients do, and it's much more difficult to care for people who have given up, or who have "nothing" they turn to in distress. And by nothing I don't mean religion, I mean friends, family, whatever else.
.
Whether you believe or not, the mind is a very powerful thing
Right. It is great that she put faith in god. Just wonderful. But I'm sorry. God did not remove the cancer from her. Doctors removed it. With help from this young lady staying positive., And a score of other healthcare workers.
Well she and many others would disagree with you.
.
.... And the young lady stayed positive through her faith. So please go back and re-read my previous comment and you'll find this issue has already been addressed.
.
Considering you're not the doctor that removed the cancer, and I guarantee she thanked them all just as much, I'm not sure why your boxers are getting all in a bunch.
.
You don't agree with her, and that's fine. But you're very adamant that your opinion on this is final and absolute, and that all who hear it must find themselves in agreement. This isn't conversion therapy. You're not going to convince anyone on this website god does or doesn't exist.
.
All you're going to do is drag a positive post into unnecessary drama for no discernable reason other than the happy-chemical-release I assume you're getting from lecturing people on the interwebz
