The males.... Oh good lord, I'd look up what fresh hell these females bring against humanity but I don't even know what this thing is and I probably don't need the nightmares. I love the idea of Australia but I when I go there, I'll be watching in every direction at once, at all times.

Hahah, you'd think that but like @snowbeast said it's a Dobsonfly. So, lucky for me they actually live in America! (and asia and I think south africa.) The females are like the males but they have pincers.
