If you look at that crater right next to the silo you can tell that if the silo hadn't been there, there would have been a lot more damage in that particular direction. It certainly is amazingly well built
What? 2 kilotons is enormous! This is easily in the top 50 non-nuclear explosions. Such things tend to happen when ammonium nitrate is stored in shitty conditions. Where did I even imply it wasn't a fucking monstrous reaction?
Ha! Some of the walls built in Czechia before WWII still last to this day. They tried to blow them up with dynamite but the stuff just jumped up a bit and fell back into place.
