Does anyone here live in Norway? Cause I’ve only ever heard amazing things about it, and other than language barrier I don’t see why everyone isn’t moving there.
Yes, I live in Norway and it’s pretty damn great. I think the taxes thing sounds worse than it actually is. With an income of around 45k a year you pay 24% in taxes. And with 100k it’s about 30%. How much is it in the US?

If you live in California your taxes seem to be closer to Norway’s 24% at 45k, so why not go someplace where you don’t also have to pay exorbitantly for healthcare and they’re actively working towards a better place for their citizens?
Exactly jokur. Yes, taxes are higher than some other places, but still similar to many others. And the benefits you get - free healthcare, free university, great student loan/scholarships. If you pass all of your exams, 40% of your loan get’s converted to a scholarship
