I mean, it's not entirely wrong. Breathing pure oxygen for too long will absolutely destroy your lungs.

It actually does this to cells as well, specifically iron in cells, which degrade and can damage the rest of the cell. You also need sunlight to synthesize vitamin D, but sunlight can also cause cancer. It's just a cost/benefit analysis.
