Yeah, I think we've dropped it this week. I'm on the west coast and @snowbeast is on the east coast if I remember correctly. Hmu if you want some tips about where to go to experience forresty stuff <3 These pics are taken on stage 5 of Bohusleden, a hiking trail that runs from south of Gothenburg to the southern norwegian border, and is accessible by train or bus in less than 30 minutes. Plenty of opportunities for dayhikes or weeks of wildcamping.
@karlboll Wait, wait, @snowbeast is Swedish, too? I didn't know that. Anyway, those are some nice pics. I can't remember the last time I went hiking, but I do remember I used to do it a lot. So this is some nostalgia right here. It's funny, even though I couldn't possibly have been to those locations, I feel as though I have.
We walked a piece of Bohusleden when we were visiting Kungälv in 2008. We also went to Tanumshede, which was an almost magical place. We always seek out historic places, the older the better. We were staying in Ljungskile.
@anthracite Oh, that area is really nice. Sections 8 & 9 are even better but seriously tough to get through.
@happy_frog I've often thought so myself, forests look pretty much the same all over and it's always nice to see trees.
I'm east of @karlboll in a city called Linköping. We have great trails too including the 33km "Omberg runt" which follows-ish the perimeter of a moraine on the east side of massive Lake Vättern. The views are stunning. My hip flexors stopped working after that hike - I had to lift my legs with my hands into my car afterwards :-D

Be careful my dude
