The idea is that you can only date once you are 14, and only other 14 year old, and you can date mire and more people as you get older.
Don't get me wrong, I think this rule is stupid, but that's the idea anyway.
Unless I have the age of consent wrong, a 17 yr old technically can't consent to sex. So having sex with them would be considered rape by a court. But relationships don't have to involve sex.
Or you should. This person commenting is 20 years old. Assuming they engage in a sexual relationship with the 17 year old, even if it's consensual, the parents can sue as rape and pedophilia. An ugly situation.
well if you're in a relationship with, we havin sex... Soo i guess "statutory rape" or rape? Idk either way... Probably shouldn't be dating someone who's 17
In certain states the age of consent is lower, currently in New York the age of consent is 17 so if both parties say yes, the term rape never enters the equation
Federal only matters in states that don't make their own law about it which most do. It's basically either 16 or 18 in America depending on where you go.
I'm sorry but I will never go out with a 16 year old at the lowest. Nor 24 at the highest, all the people I've dated were way older. I guess I like more mature guys
Max (13-7)2= 12

Makes perfect sense

OK
24 max
Not bad
(25-7) 2=20
So... what I'm only supposed to fate younger guys?
Max 18
That works out. Im dating someone who is 18
Uhm 17 would be considered rape...
The definition of rape
I'm from UK btw where it is also 16.
Max: (16-7)2=18?
I am so confused honestly.
16/2=8+7=15
But without parentheses
16-7x2
16-14
2
18 max
Max (16-7)2=18
80/2+7 = 47
(80-7)2 = 146
That's just sad
