I actually really like the idea of having someone that isn't a politician as president. Not necessarily him, but someone who hasn't made a career as a politician.
One thing I like about Carson is that he said if he were elected, he would get advisors from both sides to resolve issues that he isn't the expert on. For example, he isn't an economist, so he wouldn't try to come up with the answer for the economy. Most other candidates have an answer for everything (and many of them have stupid answers because they don't know what they're talking about). Carson is willing to acknowledge that he isn't an expert and seek advice instead.
problem is Bernie is an independent even if hes running as a democrat and everyone knows it. he doesnt stand a chance of a nomination. hes the only one i like but im not optimistic.
Don't worry heart77, he won't. He's there because he is trying to get attention towards his party. This process is known as 'forming a base' where they get the really cuckoo people in the US to vote for that 'party' and then the party will choose someone else.
He is essentially publicity.

actually outsider viewpoint can be very useful, and that is pretty much how it works, the lead candidate for a party in the beginning does not tend to be their candidate when its down down repub v dem, whats happening right now is more like lines are being drawn, trump pulls people who are on the line republican with his antics, and once they mentally commit republican its likely they will vote for whomever is put forth by the republicans as typically once they pick one the others will endorse that one. now what COULD happen is they choose someone else and trump runs anyways, dividing the republican vote and screwing the party over, which would be hilarious.
Which is an underhanded way of saying that my views are different than yours. I suppose it was to much to ask to be able to have an intelligent conversation.
the only positive side to him being not pc is that you do not have to guess what groups he hates. being pc is just not being an asshole and recognizing groups as people.
Trump 2016.
