There is plenty it is 5th in the satanic 11 satanic rules of Earth. And as you are asking the question you should have done a bit of research before asking with that tone. (Could anyone else here that tone or is it just me?

In the Bible its not selling a girl to her rapist. In the book of Dueteromony chapter 22 verses 28 and 29 is what this post is referring to. Those verses particularly talk about sex outside of marriage that was consented by BOTH the man and the woman. The man must pay a LEGAL fine, NOT a sale price, and marry the woman. In the rest of that chapter there are similar fines for other violations of the law
NO you do not get married to your rapist! the whole point of my big rant was that it was sex that the man AND the woman AGREED TO. the reason it was against the law was because it was outside of marriage. All cases of rape in Biblical Israel the victim was spared and the perpetrator killed
I haven't read the Bible so I can't judge by that, however looking at it from the historical point of view, marriage was a must-do if you wanted to bang at that time. Also, gender equality was hardly a thing back then, and the word of a man (especially if he had a high social status) was more valued than the word of women. Therefore, if a man raped a woman and then said it was consensual, she'd still be forced to marry him, and I think this might be what the post is referring to. Religion was/is really fucked up in this sense because priests etc were ultimately trusted because "nobody bad would work in a church, right?", and lots of people exploited that. Remember the crusades? Most people were in it for the pillage and loot. Remember John Wycliffe, Jan Hus or Martin Luther? They were against the Church taking money from people and disguising it as "buying God's forgiveness". This only shows that faith is easily able to cloud people's judgment, which is what this post is about imo.
Which translation?
Currently, there are SEVENTEEN different biblical translations in wide use.
Keep in mind that in holding with tradition, the "modern" translations like those of old have had their translations influenced by politics and contemporary ideology.
Even though those translations essentially "say the same thing," the impact of how it is said is vastly different... that's even before you consitered the "literary liberties" taken with the text.
These scriptures are complex and written in another time. It's like reading Huck Finn and all you can say is you think Mark Twain is a racist... you missed the point
I read all the Harry Potter series about 10 times. I learned I missed a whole chapter in the Order of the Phoenix last time. My point is that you may have missed/forgotten it.
You read the entire thing everyday? Anyways what I mean is that you may have missed it or your copy may have a different translation then other versions. I have not read the Quran myself but I have seen the passage from credible sources. So unless you can provide a viable source I'm afraid that I will not believe that it is not in there.
i read it in the original copy in Arabic ;) give me the sources and ill tell you if its really in the quran because people try to change it but they cant because the first quran that was written is still in the Saudi Arabia and no one can change it
And the bible also says not to commit adultry. Between not commuting adultry, and not having sex before marriage, I'm pretty sure that covers rape. And your right men did have a more trusted word them women.
That is true. I sort of wonder if a modern day bible would be different. The bible was written 2000 yrs ago, and times have changed. Good point though.
Omg you ignorant fuck contrary to wherever you get your facts this entire list is accurate, especially the part about the satanic rules. It is in fact the fifth rule in the eleven satanic rules of Earth found here. Learn the facts and pls don't let shit fall from your mouth onto your keyboard next time.

The passage in the bible that is being referenced actually states that you must marry a woman that you have intercourse with and pay the father the dowry. Nothing to do with rape, but when in doubt about what the Bible is telling you is right or wrong, Mathew 7:12
