I like this advice. When you're about to fail, don't. When you're about to mess up something, don't. When you're about to beat something, don't. Don't do it. It's not right
Clearly soneone should give you the money.

Or maybe part of your plan would be to find a way to contribute to the community in exchange for money. That way the community gets help and you get a means of taking care of yourselfe. It's a win-win.
Perhaps not. But it depends on how we want to define what capitalism is. In a “pure” capitalism things like human rights or happiness take a back seat to profit. I like capitalism, as a means to an end. A system to motivate social and technological progress. I’m not a huge fan of regulations, but we can usually see fairly easily where the system is failing people. Systems like real estate are not capitalism as the law currently exists so much as they are tools of wealth entrenchment. To me that is the antithesis of capitalism. The pressures that drive competition and innovation ease or erase when you know that you essentially can’t lose unless you try to or make huge gambles on foolish odds. So our current real estate system rewards those with money or birth right and functions as a tool to obfuscate financial dealings. We could change that.
Capitalism rewards self empowerment. There are many self empowered people who are also virtuous. The place for fhe virtuous is in the donating/ charity world (the true charity world, not the tax shelter non-profits).
Self empowerment is a broad concept. People take power from the state by breaking or subverting laws. Dictators take power from the people through their vision and force. This philosophy is akin to might makes right. In a society of law this doesn’t work as might is an imaginary virtue based on rules we create and can be bent to suit those who make the rules- hence the entrenchment of wealth and power in society. Where that fails violence suits- but it’s regressive to go back to an age where whoever can beat up the leader is the new one. We have been there are know where that ends up. To break the cycle we mustn’t go backwards in our thinking and ways. Might doesn’t make right, and the loudest or most persistent voice shouldn’t be the default winner of a debate. Might does not make right and never has.
In pure capitalism, vaccines wouldn't exist. In pure socialism, allergy medications wouldn't exist. In pure fascism you'd stfu and do whatever the government blessed you with. In pure communism we'd both be taking an allergy pill neither of us needs.
There's a balance.
Thats why its important to choose your friends
