I don’t know that this is the correct meme for this information but it’s probably pretty true up to a certain age.

I’d say maybe. It depends. There are guys with “white knight” complexes who jump at a chance to prove themselves or “save” any woman they see in “need.” There are guys who see a kid as an angle- something that they feel will make a woman more desperate or less desirable, thus having to put up with more or have lower standards, there are guys who don’t actually understand or care about the responsibilities of someone else having a child, they figure it won’t be a major part of a relationship (especially if custody is split,) and there are more than enough guys who just don’t care because they don’t want to be there in the morning to ever meet the kid. If it were that easy to dissuade men, women wouldn’t have as many complaints about creepers. Even saying you have an STD, chronic disease, or history of violence or crime won’t dissuade many men- especially the type of men most women don’t want to meet.

Sorry won't work on me, I have a kid myself, besides my ex had a kid before we got together, she don't have kids now but she did.

I didn't downthumb, but in the future, you may want to consider your wording better.

She lost custody, so technically she no longer has kids at least in a legal sense. Besides since I'm already a father and was a step father, kids do not scare me away.

@matthewg Out of curiosity, what was wrong with @mrdad01’s wording?

It sounds ominous, and easy to misinterpret that there might have been some foul play.

No, bad wording was the 'mother' saying on facebook that she and her children would be reunited in heaven, not that a she-demon like her would ever make it there. Granted though since I typed that after working 16 hours since I had to fire two of my employees grammar wasn't even on the same stove let alone a back burner.
