I never ate my crust when I was a kid. Then my dad took me to some restaurant, and the waiter told me to dip my crusts in honey, and it was f*ing delicious
Bruh but like ordering a pizza and then not eating the crust because you're worried about the extra carbs or calories or whatever is the equivalent of getting a diet Coke with your doubletriplemonsterburger McMenu. You're already stuffing your face with calories, carbs, fats, might as well enjoy the whole pizza and then work out a bit.
I do get your Chipotle decision though. I also try to cut on the carbs and calories by not eating pastry or pasta (except couscous, that I couldn't abandon if it cost me my life) but like, I'm not gonna waste a perfectly good pizza crust when I've already ordered the thing.
I know you weren't talking to me, but... I don't "enjoy" pizza crust. So essentially I'd be eating extra carbs so I can digest something I don't like. It'd be like getting a huge shot of blue cheese or something on top of my burger when I don't even like blue cheese. The burger still isn't healthy, but it's still got less calories than with the blue cheese, and I'm happier without eating it
I mean I get it but the crust is such a small part that it makes no difference.
Then again I guess it depends on what kind of pizza it is. I'm from Europe so thin pizzas are more common here but I hear that in the US they got really thicc dough pizzas
If it's such a small part I legitimately don't understand why it matters if we eat it or not haha. But I don't eat the very thin crust edge some of the time either

As for the size of the crust, it depends what kind of pizza you get. But this is an average pizza from "pizza hut."

You can get much thinner, stuffed crust, etc etc etc, but if you just order a pizza chances are this is what you'll get from a lot of fast food places
The rhetoric that one should stuff themselves because others are starving is senseless. Find another argument why someone should eat more than they want to.

of course don’t eat more than you want but finish the portion you take. Again the production costs a lot so wasting food like that is ill advised, at least if you eat half the pizza you can eat the rest later instead of throwing it away. Dealing with that waste also takes a lot of energy and time. Throwing away food should only happen when it’s inedible. The “people are starving” comment was more of a joke since everyone ever is sick of hearing that phrase so I regret including it the way I did, but please don’t just argue against that select part.
"some of u still don't eat pineapple on ur pizza like absolute fucking cowards. it's just fruit. are u a toddler? does ur mommy tuck u in? eat the pineapple stupid baby"

Like a pizza crust wanting someone to go down on it but they are after the cheesy crust.
