Yeah. I mean- I doubt he spent every hour for 10 years at it, or even 10 years worth of hours. When they say “it took 10 years to complete” I doubt they mean it was 87,000 odd hours of labor. More likely that he did a little here and there over the course of 10 years. It could take you years to finish a puzzle or model that can be done in a day or a few of you focus on it- if you only work on it a few minutes at a time here and there. Besides- that’s what leisure is. We all use time that could be put to “more productive” use on things we enjoy. This lady spends time surfing the web instead of solving equations or learning chemistry or solving humanities great problems in her head. So... let the man have his nice shrubs.
