I don't think I've ever fired off one bomb in Contra. I always save them for later and just die.

I have a bad habit of saving lots of things til the very end of the game just in case I'll need them for an epic boss battle or something. Most times I don't and I take away the fun of using them throughout the game.

Gotta save them Potions for the Elite Four, and the League Champion.

Thats more of a revive and full restore situation for me because im too lazy to grind to an appropriate level.

I'm pretty sure you can just revive your way through the E4 and champion, right? The stack goes up to 999 now and I'm pretty sure they run out of PP, so as long as you have at least 2 pokemon it should be possible by making them struggle themselves to KO's lol

I've gotten where I usually end up just selling any rare useful things like potions and scrolls in skyrim because I know I'll never use them

So true. You always reach that point where you could use it and it would really help but there's always the thought that it may be needed later cause it's so hard to get so I better not use it right now.
