Most likely. That thing was not a transwoman but instead a predator who knew how to prey on women (especially girls) and would target black women specifically with lawsuits for this. Although I will admit it is very difficult and unfair for transwomen out there and almost impossible to get service for your female identity on your male anatomy.
Jonathan Yaniv. I'm not sure if they mostly targeted black women, but they did mostly target women of color in general, including Muslims.

Also not that it matters but the account ricky Gervais made his comment in response to is a parody account that's infamous for fooling the very people it's mocking into thinking it's one of them
Only Nazi's are right of Obama, and even he's too conservative. Haven't you heard? If any less than 99.99 percent of media is not Democrat, than Democracy Dies in Darkness! That even Fox news is only 52 percent negative to the orange man is a disgrace to equality and fair representation!
Everything I've ever seen the stereotype has always been the right/conservatives being considered bigots for not defending everyone's feelings, and the left/liberals being considered crazy for defending everyone's feelings so if this source is right-wing then that becomes even more confusing as to why they'd call Ricky out imo
Im not saying they're not bias - or that they are. I have absolutely no idea who they are.

I was more confused with why this was "right wing" instead of "left wing" . My past experience would be Ricky's comment would have been considered right/conservative and this website's response would be considered left/liberal. That's all
What coincidental timing- I was just having this discussion on this forum the other day. I don’t think that it’s transphobic to defend salons for not serving certain customers who happen to be trans- one of the more high profile cases of this was a person widely considered a predator and a troll. There are also salons that just don’t wax penis’s or scrotums the same as some nail places don’t do toes but do fingers; and not all barbers do shaves.
From what I’ve seen- Ricky Gervais catches heat for being a transphobe for making broad and insulting or demeaning or dismissive statements against trans people in general. I think he’s often very funny, and as a comedian controversial or inflammatory things will likely be a part of humor- and when it’s all in good fun that’s part of comedy.
But for a guy who told Hollywood that they should keep their uneducated opinions to themselves- it’s maybe a bit convenient for him that he gets to use his comedy as a platform for his opinions and can then say: “I’m a comedian, so I get a free pass as a celebrity to share my thoughts on politics and social issues...” one could say it is his job- but I don’t know that twitter pays so well- so I mean- what he says off the stage isn’t his job, and brining what he wants to say off stage to the stage is exactly what he got applauded for telling a room full of celebrities to not do.
