Back when texting required the use of the number pad you pressed the number one time for the first letter (6=m), twice for the second letter (66=n), and three times for the third (666=o).

I remember there was actually a time when smart phones was just starting to come out. And back then me and my husband actually had to call a number that had actually used letters instead of numbers. It was a gimmick that some people would do like 5555-law or 55-pizza. Anyways our phones didn’t have the alphabet on the keypad so we actually had to look up a picture of an older phone keypad to find out what the rest of the phone number was lmfao.
