Because cheese is a foreign product, it is written in Katakana

French : Fromage

Greek: τυρί (teeree)

Norwegian: Ost

German: Käse
(but instead of "say cheese" we go for "Spaghettiiiiii" or "Ameisenscheißeeee" (ant crap))

We don’t have cheese in my native tongue so we call it “Cheez”
