not wrong, crickets are crazy high in protein, taste good when fried and sprinkled with cayenne pepper, and are ridiculously efficient to raise

yeah lol that was the ridiculously efficient part. Bee larva are also yummy; they tend to be sugary as they feed on a honey secretion from actual bees.

the problem is getting em, hard to find a place that sells em fresh and also hard to get w/o pissing off the hive.

Well, "regular" bugs are eaten by many all across the globe so I don't see the problem. Honestly, this is a bit condescending. This is like someone deciding that red isn't a color because it falls into the 625–740 nm wavelength. And to them any color that falls into that range is not a color. I mean I'd get it if there was some sort of ethical or moral reason but this is just I don't like that therefore you don't get to like that either.

IKR? My family lives near the sea and my aunts and uncles always come bring bags of shrimp, squid, and crabs. Though I'm still able to eat sea fish just fine which is weird.

They're different. Shellfish contain a particular protein, which is what causes the allergic reaction.

Bothe are food. I grew up eating bugs and squirrels. But i won't eat shrimp, the ocean is evil and nothing from it shall i eat
