I dont think it's required. Theres no home button on the phone so (from my understanding) users have the option of swiping up on the screen or the facial recognition
I'm no cheater but I still think that going through your BF/GF's phone without their permission is a terrible breach of trust and privacy.
On the other hand, I would never date a girl who would do that, nor do I have the money to buy an Iphone, so not my problem.
Not saying it's not. I'm not a shitstain, I'm loyal and monogamous, so I don't exactly have "something to hide," but that's not the point.
My phone is essentially an open book, but if you raid it to satisfy your childish suspicions you're in for a disappointment.
"Feel better?" I'll ask.
"No? What were you expecting? A reason to have a fight? Vindication for your pop culture poisoned expectations that I'm a cheating dog? That makes me sad... almost as sad that you don't trust me and probably still don't."
"I can guarrantee that not finding anything hasn't changed your mind and it's never going to change. Shame, I trusted you implicitly, too bad you couldn't do the same for me."
"I have to go. It's not about the phone you know. Its about the complete lack of trust. I can't live like that, with a relationship being so lobsided. Goodbye and good luck."
I just leave my phone unlocked. I have nothing to hide... but if I caught my GF going through my phone I'd do the exact same thing. It's not about the phone itself at all.
I wanna scream.
I wanna scream because of the level of fuckery that this technology is enabling.
We.
Are.
FUCKED.
R.I.P.
DON'T BE FUCKING DIRT BAG SHIT STAINS.
