I'm not a big fan of queen the only song I truly love is we will rock you. I just can't get into Bohemian Rhapsody very much I like the beginning but the rest I just can't finish it.
The lyrics are more operatic and theatrical than anything else. Scaramouche is a trickster clown and Bismillah is a Zoroastrian god. Like most Queen songs, the lyrics are meant to fit the music, not the other way around. But the good thing about lyrics is that each person can find their own meaning in them.
Your mistake is kind of funny. Bismillah is Arabic meaning in the name of god, sometimes used by Muslims to show surprise: they say Bismillah showing their astonishment at someone who wants to be allowed to go after what he did.
