Well considering on how they breathe, it would be the second one

However that position makes it hard to press the three buttons meaning dolphins make for terrible trumpet players. Which is okay cause maybe that not their porpoise in life

i'm curious, how do you envision the dolphins pressing the three buttons in the first position?

Let's be creative, why not try the other side? He gets an easier access to the buttons.

Why can't he play 2 instruments at once? I concede the flipper/button issue makes this a challenge. How about 2 kazoos?

Why not three? He can definitely play guitar with those flippers.

Alright, here you go: A dolphin breathes through its blowhole, and because you need to blow into the trumpet to play, that's where it would go. The long snout looking thing actually consists of an upper and lower jaw. This is formally known as the rostrum. *by the way, I'm fish girl, not boy*

I see some of you play trumpet through your nose because you breath through it. Please link vids
