I don't have a real favorite, but i love when a metal song is put together just right. When the drums and guitars all rush in and just fuckin HAMMER, and you can really feel the emotion in the singer's voice, and just when you think its maxed on volume it kicks up and the guitars are screaming and you can hear the singers voice near breaking and its just aaaaaAAAAHHHHHHHH I FUCKING LOVE MUSIC
I don’t think that song aged well. It was a good song for the era but it lost a lot of punch relative to bands that came out around the same time like Pantera and Fear Factory.
Fuck yes, thats a perfect example. When it first kicks up around the 2 min mark and you're like "ok, this is kinda intense" and then it gets even louder you're like "oh fuck"
I agree it is one of their most iconic songs. It was really cool video as well and it was one of the songs that got me into metal in the first place. Not trying to run it down particularly just making an observation.

Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance; love it and no other song will win against it for me
There's two ways to take this: either songs with a beat that just pulses through you so succinctly, rearranging the very rhythm your heart is pumping blood through your veins until you can't help but move along with it... or songs with a melody/lyrics that resonate on such a deep level, it's like someone wrote down a piece of your soul, and everytime you hear it you can't help but to just... *feel.*
Both are equally amazing to me, and I can't help but feel a bit of extra love for posts that let people express their reasons and joy for different music.
It literally says,"I can feel it in my bones"
