I don’t really know why but the room was shaped oddly so there wasn’t much wall space that wasn’t covered in doors. And the only spot had a bad view so I made a view on the wall
And I have a bed that is wall to wall it's to big lol and it is a small room.
We have to crawl into the bed from the foot of the bed like we are monsters creeping onto our victim. But each morning we scoot to the end of the bed like we are 5 yr olds getting up to watch cartoons lmfao.
mrscollector basically brought up the point I cake to mention- in many places it isn’t practical to even have a queen size bed or larger at all because of room space- but in most competitive real estate markets unless you’re very lucky or well off you won’t find a master bedroom large enough to allow the bed to be placed in the middle or the room without making the floor plan almost unlivable.
Yes. And as @jasonmon pointed out, this can be especially problematic if you or your partner are tall. A queen size bed is both wider and longer than a full. And while full xl does take up less space, it's still takes up more space than a full, and finding sheets is a huge pain in the ass. I had a full xl for space reasons at one time (because I am tall). I HAD to order sheets online, as there were literally no local options. And then the first sheets I ordered the company sent me the wrong sheets and never responded to my complaint. (Amazon refunded me the money, but I still didn't have sheets)
I was able to get sheets, but it was an ordeal.
Uhg. I’m sorry to hear it. I hate that. I know the struggle- and that’s without mentioning non common size pillows and cases that either don’t cover or drape off.
I'm having issues just imagining meeting someone new and going to their house to get squishy and walking into a bedroom where the bed only touches the bottom. Honestly, it's a fear I've never legitimately had to experience.
As a tall dude, my feet hang off the end of any bed. I can't imagine the footboard-only thing and having my head hanging off the bed instead.

I spent the first two weeks of August house sitting for a friend, and her bed has a headboard and a footboard. I spent my nights scrunched up between them and I kept having vivid dreams about jumping off a diving board or a pier, and I'd jolt awake and be "walking" across the footboard.
Yeah, being tall has downsides. I'm not too tall for my bed now, but when I was a teen I had a full size bed. And my feet didn't hang off the edge (I'm not THAT tall) but if my feet were against the foot board and I was laying parallel to the edge, the top of my head was just about an inch shy if the headboard. And I was one of those one arm under the pillow sort of people in those days. My solution was to lay at an angle and take advantage of the diagonal being longer than the length.
